What are Cookies?
Why the heck does every website talk about them?Every website you go to these days has a popup on it about cookies, right?
Cookies are a small file that a website saves to your browser, that contains information about you. This file is used to “personalize” your browsing experience. Some things cookies do include, but are not limited to:
- login information
- save items in shopping carts
- save history of things you’ve looked at
- save preferences or settings on a website
- choose which ads you’re shown
